Ja, hasse ich auch die US-bumpers! Dieses Auto ist "grey market" in Amerika, ohne die üblichen Beschränkungen, weil es nicht durch ein USA Autohaus verkauft wurde...
Here's some English for you to practice and because I'm in a hurry and it takes forever for me to form coherent German sentences!
About the interior: This car sat abandoned at a dealer for almost a full year, without the top cover. I live in an area with a lot of snow, rain, etc. The electronics and dashboard are luckily fine, but the steering wheel and rest of the interior didn't survive so well. The car was infested with ants! The driver door panel is unfortunately ripped along the area of the window handle, and I don't think there is a chance of finding a matching fabric again. If someone knows where, I'd love to know! The seats are ok, but the fabric is very rough from being exposed to the weather. Not very comfortable, and not becoming of such a nice car.
If I could find replacement parts here of the same color and fabric, I would do so, but with Baurs not very common and shipping from Europe so expensive, I don't think it's possible...
Since I prefer the black on black look, I'm looking for used pieces to replace this interior. If one day I come across a nice condition interior that matches the original, I'd switch it back! I did find black door panels with the grey Baur fabric, but unfortunately someone cut speaker holes into them in a very odd spot, and not a place I wish to put a speaker.
