But for us this will generate other, bigger problems.
We have to change our euros in pounds and take the ferry
to GB first.
The plane isn´t an option because of limited baggage weight.
I think i´d prefer german queues and old people, searching
for the right coins.
I´m not in a hurry.

Wieder zum Thema, ich habe gestern zu meinem 30. Jubi vom ADAC die Gold Visa zugeschickt bekommen. 1 Jahr kostenlos, 5% Tanki und ab dem zweiten Jahr €89.- anstatt 99.-
Ist das jetzt gut und für einen angehenden Rentner ein empfehlenswertes Zahlungsmittel?

That's why I offered the Albert Heijn option. Just pop over the border to the country of trailer drivers. On your way back you could pick up some other Dutch specialties for enjoyment when you get home
